2017 Fall Spotlight Member


Amanda Fulford

Amanda graduated from The University of Alabama, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, and moved from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham to begin her professional career in 1997.  In 2007, she received her NCIDQ Certification and currently holds an Interior Design state license in both Alabama and Florida.

Amanda worked in the Birmingham area as an Interior Designer for a local commercial furniture dealership, and manager of the Interior Design department, where she managed ten designers in five locations throughout Alabama and Florida.  After a 20-year career in Birmingham, Amanda moved to the Florida Panhandle where she currently is a Herman Miller commercial contract designer serving clients from coast to coast.

Amanda is currently a professional member of the IIDA Alabama Chapter and has served on multiple committees throughout the years as well as serving on the IIDA Alabama Board as President Elect for 2014-2015, Chapter President for 2015-2016 and Past President for 2016-2017.

Outside of work, Amanda and Alan enjoy spending time on the beach, boating, traveling and running a charter boat business in Key West and on the Gulf Coast.
